Rune has just ended successfull run in Sweeden playing Melchior Sinclair in "Gjøsta Berlings Saga" at Vestanå Theater when it closed in september 2011.
He is currently working at Theatre KTO in Krakow in Poland.
Rune was born in Solbergelva in the outskirts of Drammen in Norway. He was trained at The Drama Studio London (93/94) and has worked non stop as an actor in Television, Theatre and film. |

A Midsummer Night´s dream |

Rune Temte has played the lead role as Puck in A Midsummer Night´s Dream at Vestanå Theater in Sweden this summer. Director: Leif Stinnerbom. |

In november 2008 Rune played one of the lead roles in Yellow Moon at Det åpne Teater in Oslo, as a part of the festival TWIST 08. Director: Franzisca Aarflot |

Rune has just finished a successful period at Rogaland Theatre in Stavanger where he played the lead role as Karl in “Karl & Anna.” Director: Oleg Kulikov. |

Der Kommissar und das Meer |

In July and august 2007 Rune played in "Der Kommissar und das Meer", a German TV- film filmed in Got land, Stockholm and Hamburg. Director: Anno Saul. |

Rune Temte toured with the Norwegian Touring Company`s (Riksteateatret) production of Shakespeares The Tempest. Director: Leif Stinnerbom. Rune played Antonio and Trinculo. He toured Norway in 2009 and played 50 performances. |

In the Norwegian film ULYKKEN (The Accident) Rune will play the leadrole as Jonas Bergren. The cast also includes Sven Nordin, Ulla Marie Broch,Lars Arentz - Hansen,Trine Wiggen and Hassan Brijany. Filmed in may 2008 in the city of Drammen, and opened in 2009. Director: Marcelino M. Valiente |

In august 2008 he played "Heming Fogdedreparen" in "Sol av Isfolket" after the books by Margit Sandemo at Valdres Folk- museum. Also starring Paul Ottar Haga, Evy Kasseth Røsten and Heidi Ruud Ellingsen. Director: Leif Stinnerbom. It opens again in august 2009. www.isfolket.no |
